The RoSPA Advanced Driving Test

Driverevolution recommends the RoSPA Advanced Driving Test, as it is the most challenging and thorough in our opinion. There are 3 grades that can be achieved, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Achieving any of the grades is to be commended. Whilst clients are under no obligation to take the test, Driverevolution will encourage clients to go the 'whole way', but the decision of course remains yours.

You will need to purchase some additional study material which will be pleased to supply. Essential reading is the Police Road Craft Driving Manual and also there is an excellent DVD available. This is a 'fly on the wall' 90 minute film of the Police Trainees, training for the Test. It is highly informative and clearly shows what is expected. The Highway Code is obviously essential too. Don't be afraid of the test!

The RoSPA Test is not anything like that dreaded test you took originally to get your licence! It is conducted in a very relaxed and friendly manner by ex Police Class One Advanced Drivers. If the study, tuition and the practice has been put in you should be able to achieve a pass.

Driverevolution can be with you right up to the moment you depart with the examiner. We usually run pre-test sessions, to get you fired up for the real thing. Mock Tests, well before the event, can be conducted too, which are very helpful indeed.
