Assessement Drive and Introduction to Advanced Driving

Before the course you will have received the following:

Police Roadcraft DVD, Police Roadcraft Driving Manual and an up to date copy of The Highway Code, all for advanced study in preparation for the day

Vehicle and Documents Check

Introduction, over view and briefing for the days course

9.15am Commence Initial Assessement Drive

10.45am Initial Assessment Drive ends

Coffee

Brief rest and discussion identifying areas that may need attention

11.15am Tutoring on subjects identified in assessment drive

12.45pm second session ends

Lunch and discussion

1.45pm Introduction to Advanced Driving Techniques and The System of Car Control

Opportunities to practice techniques with and without instruction

4pm Course debrief and days course ends

After completion of the course a written report will be sent to you and to your Company. This will include an in-depth report on the days assessement and progress, a risk assessement based on the initial drive, before tutoring and another after the days work. These can be kept on file for future reference if needed. Advice on areas that need further attention is included and recommendations on how this could be achieved.

THIS IS PURELY AN EXAMPLE AND COURSES CAN BE TAILORED TO THE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF THE CLIENT, COMPANY OR BOTH. DRIVERS WHO WISH FOR PURE ADVANCED TUITION AND NO RISK ASSESSMENT CAN BE CATERED FOR AND FOR THOSE WISHING TO TRAIN UP TO TEST STANDARD. TESTS CAN BE ARRANGED THROUGH DRIVEREVOLUTION, SO THAT A TEST FOLLOWS A TUTORING SESSION IF SO REQUIRED. THOSE CLIENTS REQUIRING CONFIDENCE BUILDING SESSIONS, ADVANCED DRIVING ADVICE OR GENERAL ASSESSEMENT AND ADVICE ARE ALL CATERED FOR AND THERE IS NO OBLIGATION TO TAKE AN ADVANCED TEST AT THE END OF THE TRAINING, ALTHOUGH WE ALWAYS ENCOURAGE CLIENTS TO ACHIEVE AN ADVANCED PASS IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.
